I've been away for long enough. Sixteenth March is the start of the monsoon season. It has been raining every single day. Hopefully the grass will be green again!

River safari with parents. Sometimes I feel the need to go out with them once in awhile to show that I still care even though we don't talk everyday. Despite the rain, I would say we're rather lucky to see most animals actively roaming around its enclosure instead of the typical "dead" asleep ones we would see in the zoo.

It's my second time seeing the pandas, the first time was when river safari wasn't completed yet. When I went, JiaJia was rather lazy but this time, we're in luck!
 
The one on the left is JiaJia and the right is KaiKai. JiaJia is eating the carrots left by the zookeeper around the enclosure and KaiKai is just being a typical boy, climbing branches. HAHAHA! I guess my favourite is the squirrel monkey forest.
I actually went there twice! First time was when it was still drizzling and second time was when the sky was clear. I have to say the second time, I was disappointed. Once the rain stopped, the monkeys are no longer active and all of them went into hiding....

Despite the rain, I didn't regret going! There's so many animals though I wasn't very interested by the water animals.... Wait! Actually, I love the sea otters!! Sea otters have always been my favourite though they can be really stinky!

If you haven't been to river safari, I suggest you go and take the boat ride as well! It's all worth it though it depends a little on luck!

My love for animals cannot be replaced.

And you will have no regrets.
