ENERGY OF LOVE.

The thought of love was distant to me ever since the last
breakup but a recent conversation got me thinking about it. Will you always
love the one you once loved? Or "I love you forever and always" is a
lie because forever and always doesn't exist?
Let's start with my opinion. I believe in being friends with
your ex and when you love someone, you will always love them. You will not stop
loving them. If love disappeared, you never really love them from the start
then. It was most probably just a crush. Though I have been in 2 relationships,
the first one was never really love or anything serious. And I don’t think I
should count that, so there was only one love and that was first love. You know
what they say about first love, you will always love them no matter how long.
There will always be a special place for the people I once loved. Yes, I still
love them but not as much as I used to and no, I would not get back with them.
With that, I can say I’m over my past relationships.
I look at love differently; people speak of love so casually
and give them away so easily like it means nothing to them. How can one just
stop loving someone when they have loved them all this while? No matter how
many years have passed, a part of me will always love my first love and there’ll
always be a place for the love. I don’t love as deeply as before, so where
did the rest of the love go?
Love is a kind of energy,
it does not disappear and it cannot be destroyed. Love transforms. It
transforms into something else. What does it transform into depends on how you
deal with it. The once was love can be transformed into hatred or concern. It
really depends. If it ended on a bad note, it’s hatred. If there’s an
understanding between two parties, love becomes care and concern. The 100% love
turned into 5% love and 95% concern. You will wish them well and hope they stay
safe because you still care and a part of you still love. It is not true that being friends with your ex means you either never really love them from the start or you're still in love with them. Being friends with your ex means both of you are mature enough to come to an understanding and transform the love into care and concern with a tinge of special love.
To my future love, you can stay assured that the 5% will not
increase or decrease and I will always love you more than anything I have ever
loved.
