JUST FRIENDS?

 Can guys and girls be just friends? Can my ex-boyfriend/girlfriend still be my friend? Most people would say no and this is not true. Guys and girls can be just friends. Two people once in a relationship can still be friends as well. A step back to friends zone For people to once be in a relationship and be friends again, is difficult but it is not impossible. To take a step back to the friends zone, both party must have the same understanding of why they do not work out, why they are better as friends and they have to learn to let go. Based on my personal experience, I can tell you it is possible. At first, both parties were awkward about it and either party is upset, angry and disappointed. As time pass by, both hearts will heal and you know you have learnt to let go. Having the same understanding of why the relationship does not work out, why both are better as friends is the most important and biggest step towards the friends zone. If two people have different understanding, it is most probably because one still does not see the real problem or there is a misunderstanding of why the break up is happening. Because both of them are not on the same page, there is still a tendency of them quarrelling why they are in the friends zone and lead to them believing they can no longer be friends. After understanding the two 'whys', accept it, learn from it and move on from there. Some may ask why do we still want to be friends? We still want them to be our friends because he/she is such as amazing person and it is a blessing to have him/her in our lives. That's the reason why you got into a relationship with that person right? Well, unless your ex is unhealthy for you, both emotionally and physically. Like abusive, insulting, etc. Staying in friends zone How can guys and girls be purely just friends? I have a number of close guy friends and they are purely just friends I love dearly. The reason why guys and girls can be just friends: 1) Too comfortable with one another 2) Not your type For guys and girls to be just friends, two must start this friendship with no intention in mind. If one has the intention of getting into a relationship with another, this friendship will either progress from here or end here. If both start out purely just to be friends, one can still fall for another but there's a 60% chance of it progressing into something more and a 40% chance of the friendship to end. When 2 people are too comfortable with one another, there will be no sparks because you have already treated them as your brother/sister. The love between the two is just sibling love like how you love your siblings. The love is strong, you two can talk about everything and anything. You can always count on one another to have each other's back. This love will last forever. Not your type simply means they don't attract each other the way couples in love do. They are just people you hang out with and never thought of dating. We all have such friends, they are really nice, everything about them is great but you just will never date them because there isn't the right chemistry between the both of you. It is something one cannot explain. You look at them and nothing is happening, your heartbeats don't mess up, you don't get butterflies in your tummy and your brain won't have a bunch of nonsense that might slip out of your mouth anytime. Despite the fact that you two are only staying in the friends zone for now, things might change when the time is right. Everything changes as time goes by. Everyone can be a friend to everyone. It depends on how you see and react to it. Appreciate your friends, they may be JUST FRIENDS, they are a big part of your life before your love walks into your life. They have seen all your ugly sides and stayed despite you treating them like shit most of time. Think back how wonderful this friendship is, thank them for being there, for listening, for trying, for... everything. Thank you friends. It's my blessing to have you as my friend. tumblr |
