EVIL THOUGHTS

Does evil thoughts bring you karma? This is the question most people wonder after feeling guilty for an evil thought. Let me assure you that evil thoughts do not bring you karma unless you act it out. Not convinced? Let me try and convince you. According to dictionary.com, karma origins from the ancient India, it is a key concept in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism, and Taoism. Action, seen as bringing upon oneself inevitable results, good or bad, either in this life or in a reincarnation. In short, good intent and good deed contribute to good karma and future happiness, while bad intent and bad deed contribute to bad karma and future suffering. Good karma and bad karma work the same way. Good thoughts will not bring you any good karma unless you act it out. So many times, I have thought of helping people and giving my seat to others that need it more than me but those thoughts will not bring me any good karma unless I actually help people and give up my seats. Since good karma doesn't come with thoughts, neither will bad karma. It is important to not be other's bad karma, as it'll bring you bad karma. Despite the fact that evil thoughts don't bring you bad karma, you should not have evil thoughts. SHOULD NOT. Why? Haven't you heard of how thoughts can affect a person? Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character, it becomes your destiny. The moment it becomes your words, bad karma is on its way towards you. google/dictionaty.com/wiki FAME & POPULARITY

First of all, who are the popular kids? Easy to tell. 1) Everyone in the school knows them. 2) Even a blank picture can get them 200 over likes on Instagram. 3) They dress according to the trend instead of their styles. 4) To them clubbing is more important than anything. 5) Busy social life. 6) Ego, higher than their knowledge. 7) Good looking. Duh. 8) Camps enthusiast. Not all of them are like this but they all have some of these traits. To defend some of the popular kids, some of them are actually intelligent, nice and humble. What really pissed me off is when these kids complain about uninvited to club, hangouts or outing every freaking single time (Bojio?) and when it comes to study, zero effort. You goddamn well should know you deserve it if you fail any modules. Don't make it seem like "Oh! You passed, smart siaaaaaa." Damn you! DAMN YOU! We studied hard for it, nothing comes easy. If doesn't mean being smart will bring us As, we worked for it. If you are the kind people that dress to impress, only want fame, you seriously need to rethink your purpose of life. I know fame can be tempting, the cool kids, they have it easy. That's what everyone say but it is not 100% true. Yea, they do win in social life but academically, they might have failed terribly. Fame will not bring you anywhere if you have no talent, no knowledge and no money. What do you have? A great number of friends that know nothing about you expect your name. Wait? Are they even friends? To be honest, just acquaintances. One day, you will come home dog-tired from a long day of work, earned peanuts and you'll think, "Back in those college days, I was a popular kid. Good times." Yea, it was a good time but nobody cares. Not unless you're earning big bucks and still stand out from the crowd during gatherings and reunion. In my opinion, A LOT of people have lost themselves in the middle of trying to fit it. They forgot what they actually like and they forgot their own opinions do matter. Do not let fame change you, it can destroy you. Friends or acquaintances, always quality over quantity. When your social circle is too big, it can be very exhausting. I'm not a typical jealous-of-popular-kids bitch that rants because I can't get what they have. I'm a very plain girl telling certain people indirectly to STOP complaining about how bad their grades are when they didn't even put in any effort. Good grades do not come with lucky. Lucky is not reliable. Trust your brain, they are more reliable. Oh. If the shoes fit, feel free to wear it. 2015 NEW YEAR

Last New Year's Eve, I spend the time drinking at PS Cafe with my colleagues and went home tipsy without even wishing each other "Happy New Year!" Perhaps such wishes have become too cliche and we're all too tired. My life indeed needs to be more interesting, I think I need some love. Hahaha. You know how we always write neatly on the first page of the book and mess up somewhere in the middle? That's how I always mess up my life. 60/365, I'm done trying and I screw up my life, again. It happens all the time. Anyway, the past few weeks I have been thinking what should my 2015 New Year Resolution be. After much thinking and suggestions from friends (Jonna said I should grow some boobs. Sighs.) I have finally decided! Yay! Throughout the years of dating and mixing with people all races, I know a little of Malay, Taglog and Dialects- Hokkien And Cantonese. Jack of all trades, master of none. So, this year, my New Year Resolution would be to master my Dialects. I have always been very into languages and there's so many languages I wish to learn but time and motivation do not do me any favour in learn these languages. From this year onwards, I'll learn different languages and hopefully by the age of 25, I can communicate in at least 7 language(English, Chinese, Hokkien, Cantonese, Malay, Taglog and Hand sign). Again, commitment is very important. I'll keep and continue my 2014 New Year Resolution and work on my 2015 New Year Resolution at the same time. I wish everyone a happy 2015 with endless laughter and countless cash. (winks) Cheers! |
