fate

I do. I believe the reason why you are here and doing this is because of fate. Through my life, I've met countless of people, some stayed, most didn't. But I don't blame them, I mean two person start drifting apart, it only means the fate ends here. Maybe someday, they will come back into your life for some reasons, that's fate too. Why do we fall out of love? Cause that's fate telling us that's not the right one. Some only ended up as friends, some lover and some will just be strangers forever. Look around you, did you choose your friends or your family? And by choosing your friend I meant you had the freedom to be ANYONE'S friend. The fact is no, where you are, the friends you made are kinda fated for you. Your choice of friends is limited to those that happen to be in the same place as you. My colleagues always ask why would I choose to work at a certain place, maybe I like travelling or maybe it's just fate. My first workplace, I met my first love. We're still very in love, but just couldn't make it work. Fate too, I guess? You see, what if I chose to work somewhere near my place? Then I wouldn't have met that one I am so in love with. Fate I guess, I made real great friends there and saw the real world. If I chose to be somewhere else, my first love might not be the same one. Or maybe it will be the same one but we'll meet differently. Can you change your fate? I used to think, no. Like once you were born, everything is written in your fate. At the age of 8, you'll meet your best friend. At 15, you will have your first kiss. At 21, you might start smoking. At 30, maybe an accident. And at some point of life, you'll die. Every decision you make, it's fated too. Then I think again, if we can't change our fate is it then those criminals were born bad, with their fated sealed in jail? I guess you can change your fate by your thoughts and actions. Maybe in fate, there's always a plan B in every point of life and the unchangeable is just meant to be. We should never be afraid of changes or people's opinion about us. Changes help us grow. People's opinion will make the real you disappear, don't change because you want to be one of them. Change because you are not happy. I am the type of girl that hates to force myself to do things I'm not happy doing. Change, make it your way reasonably. Come and go? Well, that's fate too. I decided to quit my second job after working for only 3 months because I am not happy there. So why bother staying? I met people, fate. Short fate. But because in life, we don't know what tomorrow may bring. What if I die? I'll die with a unhappy job. Don't restrict yourself to just one place, the world is so big. But please don't give up just because of a little problem or stress. Because if you can't handle work stress, how are you gonna handle life stress? Don't fret. When the time comes, you'll know to stay or to go. nonsense

Let's post something that makes no sense. I'm so sick of studying already. Can't wait to finish my last paper tomorrow evening. Law is really OhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhMyGodddddd! Really, I just wanna finish that last paper and go have my holidays already.Let's just deal with our results only after our holidays okay? I need a break terribly. I need some sun-kissed skin tone. To be honest, I don't understand why girls love snow white skin. I prefer a golden brown skin that gives a healthy glow. Snow white skin is so......pale? It makes one looks so sick and weak. I don't know. I do have really fair skinned friends they do stand out a lot in the crowd, but I still prefer to have brown skin. Master is not liable for third party's actions however he is liable for servant's negligence. Uh! Whatever! Too much law in my tiny brain. Plantiff v Defendant... Bye! stereotype

I'm here because I'm bored of law and decided to blog a little.Someone once asked me if it's right to judge people by where they come from, ITE, polytechnic or junior college? If you know me well enough, you would know my answer. It's no. One should not be judged based on their education or intelligence. A JC students with straight As does mean he's a morally right person. And not all ITE student are pests of the society. We always assume people not capable of getting good results as troublemaker and straight As students are role model. Most of the time it's majority but majority does not constitute to everyone. Few days ago, while my friend was studying, a ITE student working at McDonald's gave him a cup of milo for free. Like woah! Did you see it? It's another act of kindness! I heard he has been giving out free milo to those mugging for their exams at McDonald's. We need more people like him! May he be blessed with kindness too. I do hope people stop stereotyping because it's really unfair to the victim. Not all fat kids are lazy and greedy, maybe it's just genetic issue. Not all people with tattoos are part of a gang, tattoos are just body art that describe one person. Treat everyone nice for we all are fighting our own battle. With love, I hope for rain. the world in a different light

Before I go study for my End of Semester Test, I shall do a quick post. One main reason why my new year resolution is to give back to the community is because of all these unfairness in the world. What have they done to deserve all this? You suffer throughout your young life and when you're old, you can't even enjoy? I have a very soft spot for elderly..... It aches my heart to see them alone or have difficulty to even walk. Look at the poor, our trash is their gold! Came alone to a foreign land, worked so hard and paid peanuts. Yet they are still happy. We Singaporeans, $5 per hour we complain, we think it's too little. They are only paid $1.50 per hour! Are our work any harder than theirs? Sometimes, all they really want is for someone to appreciate them and not judge them by their skin colour. Thumbs up to Ian. I don't really care if he published it to gain attention or trying to portrait Republic Poly as a place with kind people or whatever. There are kind people everywhere, it's just how observant you are to your surrounding. Back to Ian, he actually gave his angbao money to the construction workers when many of us would just spent it on ourselves. He said, "I really want to make a Singapore a better place and while I'm just one guy in a city of over five million people, kindness has to start somewhere, right?" Yes boy, you're right! It gotta start somewhere. The thing about Singaporean is we criticise more than we praise and we complain more than we compliment. I don't know him personally, but who cares? So what if he has a bad reputation in school? At least he made a difference in some of the foreign workers' lives! What about those top students and role models? Did they actually go an extra mile to make someone's life better? No? Exactly! No! Why do we always magnify people's flaws and ignore their kindness? We all have a heart that beats, we have feelings. To the people that have done nothing but judged, please ask yourself, have you ever went an extra mile to make a stranger's life better, voluntary? Unless you're saying it's all an act, like he demanded the angpaos to be returned after the photo was taken. If that's the case, he shall rot in hell. But I doubt it. Whatever it is, let this motivate you to go make someone's life better. It rained! $1.50/hour article cardboard is gold article RP Ian article V day

Hi beautiful people,I just fell out of love, but that doesn't mean I can't celebrate valentine's day. Love isn't always about a boy and a girl. Frozen taught us sister love is true love too! Well, my true love this year is my friends. Actually, Valentine's day is just another day. I'm showered with love and concern everyday at school, today is no exception.:) Except the fact that I got a rose from a wonderful boy with a golden heart and early birthday presents from my clique. The wonderful boy bought lots of roses and spread the love around. It's okay to not have someone to spend Valentine's day with. Just like how it's okay to not have a mother to spend mother's day with, a father to spend father's day with and Christmas without family. My point is, you don't need a date to show your love and you don't need someone special to spend it with. Some don't live long enough for that one day to come. Don't wait. Have some courage, say the words that needs to be spoken. Why only shower your loved ones with love only once a year when you can actually do it on any day? Is it only to be lovey dovey on V day and quarrel on every other day? I think every couple should do surprises every now and then for no reasons. Not only will it bring two closer, it will also make relationship last longer. V day is not just about lovers, it can be about family and friends too. Today happens to be the 15th day of Chinese new year too and I'll be having dinner with my family. Have some family time, show some family love. Not sure if this is a good deed but I bought 2 packets of guppies to beautify my almost empty fish tank. My dad said people buy guppies to feed the bigger fishes, I guess I'm saving their little lives... Go spread some love! I hope for rain, the grass are all dying.... Give a girl a flower and she'll be the happiest. happiness

What is happiness?
happiness
ˈhapɪnɪs/
noun
noun: happiness;
plural noun: happinesses
1. the state of being happy.
Do we all deserve to be happy? I think we all do. Even
sinners deserve happiness too. We’re all born to be great people but some chose
the wrong path….. The path they took, they might be influenced and was too
young, too dumb to realize what’s wrong and what’s right. Deep down everyone’s
core, there’s a bit of kindness in us. And this is why I think we all deserve
happiness. If we are willing go a little mile more to care for someone and make others
happy, we deserve to be treated the same way, don’t we?
I know people always say I’m too naive but if sinners don’t
deserve happiness, then who do? We’re all sinners at a certain point of our
life. I lied, I stole, I cheated, I
cursed, I swore, I hurt and I kill. Every ant we killed, that’s a life taken
away from earth. Are we sinner? Yes, we
are. But for every kind act we do, will it make up for our sins? I think it
will.
We all deserve happiness, but why are we not happy? I am not
happy. Maybe because I was still hurt from that past relationship, moving on is
not easy. Sometimes I wonder, is it I cannot or I don’t want to? Guess most of
the time, I don’t want to. I am smart enough to know what’s right, what’s
wrong, what’s good for me and what’s not. I guess we were never taught how to
control our hearts. Pisces are such idiots. Reckless fools. We say without
thinking, but really. Only those how speak without thinking say the truth. We
do it anyway knowing we shouldn't.
Well, we’re young. Make mistake, regret it, don’t learn, and
make the same mistake again. That’s why we’re never really happy. We make
ourselves sad. If we all do what’s right the world will be filled with
happiness. But how can we do what’s good for us if we have feelings that say we
need to do what we want to do?
Maybe to be happy, you need to be heartless sometimes. If
you know your partner is not right for you, end it. Your heart may say no, but
months later, when you get over it, you’ll be happier. Because what made you
sad was your partner….. We don’t need others to make us happy.
The first rule to be happy is to be happy about you. We all
have flaws and strengths. Forget the flaws, look at your strengths and love
yourself because of the strengths you have that others don’t. When you love
yourself, you will naturally be happy.
Loving yourself is not enough. Appreciate every little thing!
A 10cents can go a long way. Look at that little flower that forced its way out
from the crack of the pavement. See how beautiful it is. Admire the sun ray,
feel the warmth. Observe the world, see what’s around you; you’ll see what a
beautiful place earth is. I know we are bound to see how ugly some things are,
but the key is to focus on the positive.
Let go. Humans have feelings, too much feeling. We cling
onto memories and suffer. This is one of the hardest steps but it is the most
effective step. Letting go will help you to be happier. Letting go of the sad
memories or hatred will help you become better. Less negativity in your mind,
more room for happiness. When you worry about something, it didn't happen, you
wasted your time. If it happened, you wasted your time too. So what’s the
point? Wouldn't letting go be easier? An eye for an eye and the whole world
goes blind. Make peace with your past, you’ll become someone better.
Last step will be expecting less. Always give more and
expect nothing in return. Because expectations will lead to disappointments. Do
good deed without having the return in mind. You know your friend likes mint;
buy some mint when you happen to see it. I’m not saying you must always buy
something for your friends, once in a while is enough. Your friend loves lava
cake, you know a place that sells real great lava cake, go get one for him/her.
But don’t expect anything in return. Giving is one of the greatest happiness.
Seeing happiness knowing it’s because of you is happiness.
You can’t expect happiness to appear overnight but give it time. Give humans a little time to change. I know people don’t really change
but that doesn't mean we won’t. Always improve, keep moving forward. No matter
how small an improvement is, it’s always better than still at the same spot.
Improve morally.
Always be nice.
Love all, trust a few
and do wrong to none – Shakespeare.

New year resolutions
Posted Monday, 3 February 2014 // 10:16 pm
It's 2014 already, it's a new year! A new year, a new start? I only have one new year resolution, and it is to give back more to the community. What's yours? I don't need a list of new year resolutions because I know 2 months later, I'll forget all of it. HAHAHA! With only one resolution, it's easier to keep and remember. According to statisticbrain, only 8% are successful in achieving their new year resolution. Isn't that sad? It's all words and no action. I think the main reason why most people can't keep their resolutions is because they come up with unrealistic resolutions. The other reason will be not determined enough. What's the point of having new year resolutions if you're not gonna keep them anyway? Tips on how to keep your new year resolutions 1) set realistic resolutions 2) start with only 1 resolution if you're not so determined. 3) stay focus 4) plan how you're gonna achieve it 5) stay motivated I'm keeping my resolution quite well so far! Taking one step at a time, shaving my hair for 2013's HairForHope. Attending school's learning trip to Farrer Park to understand discrimination towards foreign workers. Joining my area's community center in visiting and giving new year goodies to needy elderly. More to come!! I believe in what goes around, comes around. Sometimes, all we need to do is to show how much we care. Start caring! google; statisticbrain; hairforhope |
